Description
Until mid-1926 all motor vehicle registrations in Newfoundland, then a British dominion, were processed by the Municipal Council of the City of St. John's. This handwritten ledger includes each registrant's name and address as well as the name of their vehicle's manufacturer. The registration number, fee, and transaction date are also recorded. This list covers what is believed to be all 1924 registrations, nos. 5001 through 5726.
