Description
A history of Texas license plates from the prestate period (beginning in 1907) through 1998 with black and white photographs of passenger and nonpassenger plates organized chronologically. Outlined histories of nonpassenger types are provided in alphabetical order by type category and then type name. Appendix contains detailed information of license plate types, including dimensions, number manufactured, cost of production, and numbering sequences.
