Abstract

Description

A history of Oklahoma license plates from the prestate period (1902) to the present (2010). Passenger plates are described in chronological order with additional discussion of some road signs. Details such as variations in plate design within a year are described. Select nonpassenger types are discussed in detail. Native American Tribal plates are discussed. Features color photographs throughout, including some primary source items such as images from period nespapers.
