Abstract

Description

Letter from Frederick L. Dewsberry to J. Ray Frank (ALPCA #1437) acknowledging a letter requesting Maryland license plates. After discussion with William T. S. Bricker, Motor Vehicle Admistrator, Mr. Dewsberry wrote that all such requests from collectors have been denied “because of the possible abuse that could result.” In lieu of sending actual license plates, Mr. Dewsberry enclosed a paper facsimile of the Maryland bicentennial license plate.
